FEAL has expanded its production capacity with a new pressing line
As in previous years, we started the year 2023 with big plans and investments. Namely, in the middle of the seventh month, a new 35 MN pressing line was installed. The pressing line was installed by the eminent Spanish company Gia, which supplied complete equipment for the new part of the plant.
After one year of construction, the hall needed for all the equipment that arrived was built on the land of 17,000 m2 above the existing Feal production.
In the new hall with an area of approx. 7,500 m2, a modern profile warehouse for the production of the new press was built. The new press will soon start working at full capacity. Its power is 3,500 T and it is mainly intended for the industrial range of products.
In its more than 40 years of business, FEAL has grown into a globally present manufacturer, which, with the opening of a new plant, state-of-the-art equipment and the experience of our employees, enables us to further grow on the market.
The 35 MN press is the sixth profile pressing line within the company, and its commissioning will increase the production capacity by an additional 15,000 tons.
In addition to the successful installation of the new press, Feal will soon complete its facility in Cerno near Ljubuški, which will be dedicated to the machining of profiles and the production of prefabricated aluminum substructures for solar power plants, as well as parts for them.
Within the Feal Group, the construction of a factory is in full swing at the Karlovac location in the Republic of Croatia. As early as next summer, there will also be a plant for pressing, plasticizing and machine processing of building profiles for the needs of the Croatian market and beyond at that location. With this seventh press in total, the two-year cycle of investments in halls and capacity expansion will be completed.
