Why aluminum?

Aluminum is a metal which, after oxygen, is the most widespread element in Earth's crust, up to 8%. Today, only steel is used more than aluminum. It is obtained from bauxite ore, which is processed into Al2O3 alumina, from which it is extracted by electrolysis consuming a lot of electricity (16 kWh / kg Al). Al and Al - alloys are used as rolled, pressed (extruded) and cast materials, semi-finished products and products. 

Due to its advantages, low specific density, physical properties, aluminum has a wide range of applications, from the aerospace industry, shipbuilding, automotive industry, construction, IT industry, furniture production and similar. They are also used in the food industry, cryogenic technology, for the production of pressure vessels in military technology, white goods and for the production of packaging.

Aluminum is the material of today and tomorrow. Today it represents one of the more important materials, in addition to being ideal for all industrial and construction needs, the great advantage is that all products can be endlessly recycled.

The sole resistance of aluminum can be increased significantly by the anodic oxidation/anodizing, powder coating and sublimation. The procedure is carried out in order to improve the anti-corrosion and decorative properties. Our firm offers all three mentioned procedures.  Typically, the reasons for using aluminum stem from the properties that aluminum alloys possess: low weight, light processing, toughness at low temperatures, low maintenance costs, durability, and recyclability.

Although it was discovered in the 19th century, over time it was discovered that it is suitable for processing due to its durability and at the same time flexibility. Resistance to adverse weather conditions and other mechanical damage give it exceptional advantages for quality construction. It is used for the construction of facade, doors, windows, balcony railings, handrails and has become a significant material for interiors and exteriors.
